This card is a catalog sample on page 22 of the 2024 spring mini-catalog. Here's how to make it.
Stampin' Up Supplies Used
The Papers:
- Crumb Cake: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
- Gorgeous Grape: 3-1/4" x 2-1/4"
- Vellum Cardstock: 3-1/4" x 2-1/4"
- Basic White: 5-1/4" x 4"
- Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (DSP): 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
- Paper Butterfly Accents
The Stamps and Ink:
- Perennial Postage Bundle: This includes the Perennial Postage Stamp Set and Perennial Postage Dies
- Berry Burst Classic Ink Pad
- Versamark Ink Pad
- Stampin' Emboss Powders Basics
The Adhesives:
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue
- Stampin' Dimensionals
- Mini Glue Dots
Other:
- Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
- Pecan Pie Bordered Ribbon or Burlap Ribbon from Real Red and Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack
The Instructions
- Adhere DSP panel to the front of the card
- Die Cut Gorgeous Grape and Vellum with the 3" x 2-1/4" Perennial Postage Die
- Heat Emboss "I Can't Thank You Enough" on the lower half of the Gorgeous Grape piece. This is done with the rectangle in a horizonal orientation.
- Using Mini Glue Dots, adhere the Vellum piece vertically to your card. Keep the glue dots toward the center of the piece so they don't show when your card is finished.
- Cut 7" of ribbon, angling the ends. Fold the ribbon in two and attach with Mini Glue Dots.
- Using a Blending Brush, gently color the top border of a Paper Butterfly Accent. Attach it to the top corner of the Gorgeous Grape piece using tiny dots of glue. The butterfly will be about half on the piece and half off the piece.
- Adhere the Gorgeous Grape piece to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Use three purple gems to embellish the card.
- The white panel is for the inside of the card.
