  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels
The Instructions:
  • Water coloring the background:
    • Wet your watercolor paper using a Water Painter or a spray bottle. Wet the paper unevenly.
    • Press the Melon Mambo Stamp Pad onto a glass block OR before opening the ink, press the ink case together so that the inside cover of the ink case gets ink on it.
    • Using a Water Painter, add ink from the block to the Water Color Paper. An uneven splotchy look is a good one.
  • After the watercolor paper dries, stamp the leaf image randomly on it. The heat tool can be used to dry the paper faster.
  • Die cut the black paper.
  • Emboss the sentiment:
    • Stamp the sentiment with Versamark Ink. It makes a clear, sticky image.
    • Cover the image with white embossing powder. Remove the excess embossing powder by turning it over and shaking it off. Make sure the words are entirely covered. If not, repeat. A small paintbrush can be used to carefully remove any stray powder.
    • Using the heat tool, apply heat until the powder turns shiny.
  • Stamp the watermelon images onto scrap paper. Fussy cut them. The Modern Oval Punch works well for the watermelon.
  • Color a piece of ribbon with the Stampin' Blend marker. Wrap it around the black panel and tape it to the back.
  • Attach the watercolor panel to the card front using liquid glue.
  • Attach the black panel to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Glue the three watermelon pieces to together and attach to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Add three Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
  • Voila!
Here is another card made with most of the same supplies.
