Beary Christmas and the Three Bears

(no die cutting machine required)

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used

The Papers:

Night of Navy: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
Balmy Blue: 4" x 5-1/4"
Very Vanilla: 1/4" x 5-1/4", scraps
Basic White: 4" x 5-1/4" and scraps for bears
Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP)

The Stamps and Inks:

Beary Cute Stamp Set and Punch
Misty Moonlight Ink Pad
Momento Black Ink Pad
Real Red Ink Pad
Old Olive or Mossy Meadow Ink Pad
Balmy Blue Ink Pad (optional)

The Adhesives:

Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin' Dimensionals

Other:

Sharp scissors

The Instructions

Stamp the three trees from the three different colors of DSP. Cut out.
Stamp each of the three bears in on Basic White paper. Cut out with scissors or punch out.
Stamp two scarves, one in Real Red and one in Misty Moonlight. Stamp a hat in Old Olive or Mossy Meadow. Cut out.
The green tree and punched out bear get glued down first. The red tree, blue tree and baby bear are adhered with dimensionals. The third bear is attached with a combination of dimensionals and glue. The bear's butt is cut off with scissors. It is easier to make this cut before it is glued down. Notice how the bears' scarves and hats match the trees they are placed near.
Glue the Very Vanilla strip near the top of the card and Stamp Merry Christmas.
If desired, add a few small snowflakes in Balmy Blue.
Glue the Balmy Blue panel to the Night of Navy card front. Stamp the Basic White panel as desired and glue to the inside of the card.

The Instructions

Stamp bears and package with Misty Moonlight ink. Cut with scissors.
Die cut "Sending" background and tag from Very Vanilla cardstock. Stamp sentiment of choice on tag in Real Red ink.
Put adhesive sheet 4" x 1-3/4" on the back of Real Red. It is not necessary to use the adhesive sheet, but the lettering is so narrow it will make sticking the red "Sending" word much easier.
Die cut "Sending" from Read Red and stick to Very Vanilla "Sending" background.
Color package with Real Red marker.
Color Twine with a Real Read marker, make a bow and put it on the bear with a mini glue dot.
Adhere the DSP to the card front and glue all the pieces onto the front of the card.

Change the background paper for a different look!

Memories and More Bright and Beautiful Cards

The Papers:

Bright and Beautiful Memories and More Card Pack
Note Cards and Envelopes. Cut 3/8" off the 5" side of the note cards if desired.
3" x 4" panels in colors that coordinate with the assortment in the Memories and More Card Pack. Coordinating colors are Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Bubble Bath, Fresh Fresia, Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight and Pretty Peacock.
Basic White panels: 3-1/4" x 2-1/4"
Stamps and Ink:

Suggested stamps: cupcake from Circle Sayings, balloons from Beautiful Balloons, pony from Carousel Horses or animal from Zany Zoo. Any small stamp that fits on 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" panel that fits the theme of the cards will work.
Momento Tuxedo Black ink pad
Coordinating Markers to color the stamped image. See the colors listed above. Or choose a stamp that doesn't need coloring, like this balloon.

Dies and Cutting:

No dies or die cutting machines are needed for this project making it less expensive and simpler to make.

Other:

The Tinsel Gems Three-Pack and Tinsel Gems Four-Pack have coordinating colors. The Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack also has coordinating colors. The Memories and More Card Pack comes with four pages of coordinating stickers. All will look great.

The Instructions:

These little cards make great invitations or gift enclosure cards. The color and embellishment choices are fun and are up to the decorator. They can be slightly different but look cute together.

Stamp the image of choice on the smallest panel and color it. A simple image is suggested to make for quicker coloring.
Layer the panels. Some of the words and images on the preprinted Memories and More cards will be covered by the stamped panel leaving a beautiful border. This makes it possible to make 36 small cards. There are also 14 large panels in the Memories and More pack that can be cut in half to make an extra 28 small cards. Each panel comes double sided giving a choice of patterns! Just be sure to order enough note cards and envelopes. They come 20 to a pack.
Add chosen embellishments.
