Bright and Beautiful Birthday
Stampin' Up! Supplies:
The Paper:
- Azure Afternoon cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4", 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" square, 1-1/4" x 5-1/4"
- Basic White: 5-1/4" x 4" for the inside
- Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP): 5-1/4" x 4"
- Basic Black: scrap
The Stamps and Inks:
- Beautiful Balloons stamp set and dies
- Tuxedo Black Momento ink
- VersaMark ink pad
Adhesives:
- Multipurpose liquid glue
- Stampin' Dimensionals
Other:
- Stampin' Emboss Powders Basic Colors
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Simply Elegant Trim
The Instructions
- Die cut the balloons on Azure Afternoon square, stamp "Happy Birthday" with VersaMark ink on balloon, cover with black embossing powder, shake off excess powder and heat set with heat tool.
- Repeat the embossing process with the dot stamp and white or silver embossing powder.
- Cut a strip of black paper that is 1/4" x 5-1/4".
- Die cut piece of Azure Afternoon using the fringe stamp. Cut one edge of the fringe so that the fringe is loose. Leave the other edge connected.
- Glue the sealed end of the fringe to the DSP panel. Glue the black strip of paper over the sealed edge of the fringe piece. Tie a piece of silver trim over the top of the black strip.
- Dry fit where the balloons will be on the card front. Stamp balloon strings accordingly. Attach the balloons using dimensionals.
- Using dimensionals, attach the DSP panel to the card front.
- Stick gems on card.
