  • Pool Party: scrap
Ink, Stamps and Dies:

  • Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad
  • Peach Pie Ink Pad
  • Pretty in Pink Ink Pad
  • Petunia Pop Ink Pad
  • Old Olive Ink Pad
Other:
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Party Dots
  • Stampin', Cut & Emboss Machine

Instructions
  • On the smallest portion of the card base make a small pencil mark at 2-1/8". Cut from the mark to the fold on each side. This will leave the end of the Blueberry Bushel piece pointed. The smallest section of the card base is now a triangle.
  • Fold the card base in half and fold the triangle to the front.
  • Adhere the DSP to the inside of the card (both sections) and to the card front. There is no DSP on the triangle.
  • On a scrap piece of Basic White
  •     Stamp the cake stand in Blueberry Bushel.
  •     Stamp both cake rectangles in Pretty in Pink, stacking them together like a cake.
  •     Stamp the frosting over the top with Petunia Pop ink.
  •     Stamp the candles in Blueberry Bushel and the flames on the candles in Peach Pie.
  •     Stamp some leaves in Old Olive.
  •     Stamp some flowers in Peach Pie.
  • Die cut the dripping frosting in Pool Party. Die cut the candles flames. Die cut the cake stand, flowers and leaves. Glue the Pool Party icing on the cake and fussy cut the cake.
  • Glue the cake stand, cake layers and candles to one of the white squares so that the candles are pointed at one of the corners. Add a few small, stamped starbursts in Peach Pie.
  • Place adhesive on the outer portion of the Blueberry Bushel triangle, being careful to not get too close to the edge. Place the decorated square on the triangle, leaving a Blueberry Bushel border on the left edge.
  • Place the second square so that it is also oriented as a diamond. Stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel and some flowers in Peach Pie ink. The flowers are dotted in the middle with a marker. Glue on the leaves and the flowers.
  • To place the second square in the correct spot, first place the two white squares face to face. Put adhesive on the back of the square that is for the inside of the card. Holding the two squares together, carefully close the card.
  • Add a few Party Dots for pizazz.
  • Glue the white panel to the back of the card for an extra space to write a note if desired.
