Matchbook Fun Fold Card

This is a very easy card requiring few supplies.

Stampin' Up Supplies

The paper

• Garden Green: 11" x 4-1/4"
• Basic White: (2) 4" x 4", 7/8" x 4"
• Bubble Bath: 3/4" x 3-7/8"
• Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3-3/4" x 3-3/4"  

The Stamps, Stamp Pads and Markers

• Cheerful Daisies Stamp Pad
• Garden Green Stamp Pad
• Bubble Bath Stamp Pad

Other

• Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels
• Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Stapler

Instructions

• Score Garden Green paper along the long side at 1" and 6-1/4". Fold into a matchbook.
• Staple the 1" flap of Garden Green to the inside of the matchbook about 1/8" from the edge.
• Stamp "You made my day" on narrow Bubble Bath strip. Stamp small flowers on the side edges of the narrow strip and on the lower corner of a white square.
• Glue the narrow strip to the small flap, so that is covers the staples.
• Glue the 4" x 4" stamped square to the inside of the matchbook.
• Glue the DSP to the other square.
• Glue the square to the front of the card close to the top of the card.
• Add three gems.
• The upper flap will fold into the lower flap.
• Enjoy!

Instructions

Die cut the Pretty Peacock layer in the middle with the Grove large die.

Die cut the Pretty Peacock scrap with the bush die.

Stamp the boy and dog on the Basic White Scrap.

Color the boy and dog using Stampin' Blend markers.

Using scissors, cut the dog and boy out.

Heat emboss the "thank you" stamp on the bush.

Glue the Masterfully Made DSP onto the front of the card base.

Using dimensionals, adhere the tree piece on the front of the card.

Glue the boy on the DSP. Glue the dog on the tree piece.

Using Dimensionals, adhere the bush to the right, bottom corner of the card.

Add Brushed Brass Butterflies.

Stampin' Up! Supplies

The paper:

•      Thick White cardstock:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
•                                              scrap for bananas and sentiment
•      Pretty Peacock: 5-1/4" x 4"
•      Pecan Pie: scrap for monkey
•      Crumb Cake: scrap for monkey's face
•      Cherry Cobbler: four strips of 1/4" x 6"

The stamps, stamp pads and markers:

•      Little monkey stamp set
•      Circle Sayings stamp set
•      Pretty Peacock stamp pad
•      Momento Tuxedo Black stamp pad
•      Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Pretty Peacock and Natural Tones Deep markers

 Cutting tools:

•      Fern 3D Embossing Folder

Instructions:

•     Emboss the Pretty Peacock mat using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder
•      Position the 2" square die with a corner facing the top of the card. Die cut
•      Using Momento Black ink, stamp four bananas on white, the monkey on Pecan Pie, and the monkeys face on Crumb Cake paper. Stamp the branch so that it will appear horizontally across the white square created by the die cut in the Pretty Peacock paper.
•      Color the branch and bananas. Use Stampin' Write Markers if you don't want it to bleed through. Or turn the paper over and color another branch on the inside of the card where the ink bled through. Color the monkey, monkey's face and bananas. Glue the monkey's face onto the monkey. 
•      Glue the Cherry Cobbler strips on the Pretty Peacock paper around the edge of the square opening. Trim the strips where they hang over the edges of the mat.
•      Glue the mat onto the card base. Glue the bananas on the corners of the square. Attach the monkey using dimensionals.
•      Cut an oval using the Double Oval Punch
•      Stamp the word "Smile" from the Circle Sayings stamp set onto the oval.
•      Attach the monkey and oval using dimensionals.
•      Enjoy!
