Strawberry Flower Pot

There is nothing like taking summer strawberries out of the freezer to eat on a cold winter's day!

Card Recipe

Stamps:              Sweet Strawberry, Itty Bitty Birthdays

Paper:                 Basic White heavy cardstock 8.5 x 5.50, scored and folded at 4.25
                           Basic White cardstock, 4.25 x 5.5
                           Pacific Point, 3" x 3"
                           Poppy Parade for strawberries
Shaded Spruce for tops of strawberries
Granny Apple Green, 1.5" punched circle
Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Ink:                     Tuxedo Black stamp pad
                               Daffodil Delight stamp pad

Tools:                  Ornate Layers Dies
                            Strawberry Builder Punch
                            1.5" circle punch

Adhesives:          Tombow Multipurpose Glue
                            Stampin' Dimensionals

Embellishments: Wink of Stella Glitter Brush

                                                           Assembly

1. Prepare your base. Cut a piece of heavy white cardstock to 8.5" x 5.5". Score and fold it        at 4.25"

2. Cut a piece of plaid green DSP to 5.25" x 4"; glue it to the front of your card

3. Cut a piece of white cardstock with the second largest ornate layer die. Glue it on at an          angle.

4. Stamp, punch and glue six strawberries. If you don't want to stamp them, there is a piece        of paper in the DSP pack that will make perfect strawberry paper.

5. Stamp and punch 3 strawberry blossoms. Use Daffodil Delight ink.

6. Punch a 1.5" circle out of Granny Apple Green paper. Stamp it with your sentiment of            choice. I used "Happy Day" from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set. That way I can                personalize the inside with any sentiment I want later.

7. Follow the diagram below to make a flower pot out of Pacific Point paper. The rim of the      flower pot is .5" x 2.5".  I used Wink of Stella on the rim and on the left side of the                flower pot to  give it a little sheen. The flower pot is adhered with dimensionals.

8. The top of the flower pot has two strawberries tucked behind and two on top. The bottom       of the flower pot has 1 strawberry tucked behind and one on top. Use both glue and               dimensionals when needed to keep the strawberries level.

9. I used a felt tip marker to make the dots around the edge of the circle. One strawberry            blossom is tucked behind and 2 are on top (again, use both glue and dimensionals). I used      a felt tip marker to make the dots around the edge of the circle.

Now go treat yourself to some delicious strawberries. I know you want to! Just
be sure to come back and order your supplies!
